Student & Family Resources
Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime Farragut Middle School family, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.
This is a central hub for students and families to easily access information for navigating the school and school day, including enrollment, student handbooks, information about schedules, extra curricular activities, and more!

Enrollment
Farragut Middle School serves students in 6th-8th Grades.
Students who are zoned for Farragut Middle School and attended a Knox County elementary school for 5th grade are automatically enrolled.
Enrollment hours for students who are new to the district are from 9:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on full school days and during specified office hours in the summer months. Enrollment must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.

Student Supports
The entire staff of Farragut Middle School is committed to establishing an atmosphere in which children will feel safe, secure, and happy so they maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has three trained counselors and a social worker on staff.

Athletics, Arts, and Clubs
Farragut Middle School offers a variety of after-school and extracurricular activities—including athletics, clubs, and performing arts—that give students the chance to build new skills, connect with peers, and explore personal interests.
Different from high school, middle school athletics includes both school-sponsored teams and community-based programs.
